El escarabeo es un amuleto en forma de escarabajo, que establece un paralelismo entre la resurreción y la salida del sol.
Empleado tanto en vida como en muerte, encontrando en la primera protección contra los males y en la segunda la garantía del paso al Más Allá.

The scarab is an amulet in the shape of a scarab, which establishes a parallel between the resurrection and the sunrise.
Used both in life and in death, finding in the first protection against evils and in the second the guarantee of passage to the Hereafter.

Esquisto verde.
Escarabeo de Corazón del Padre divino de Amón Di-Iry-Neb- Inepu, que lleva inscrita en el chatón la versión corta del capítulo XXX-B del Libro de los Muertos. Texto: ‘Hecho para el 2o Padre divino (de Amón) Di-Iry-Neb- Inepu, Justificado. Él dice sobre este corazón que se le ha dado: ¡No sucederá que tú te levantes contra mi, Oh, Corazón (mío), en presencia de los Jueces de la Doble Sala de la Justicia!’.

Heart Scarab of The Divine Father of Amun Di-Iry-Neb-Inepu, with the short version of chapter XXX-B of the Book of the Dead, inscribed in the bottom. Text: ‘Made for the 2nd Divine Father (of Amun) Di-Iry-Neb- Inepu, Justified. He says about this heart that has been given to him: It will not happen that you rise against me, O Heart (mine), in the presence of the Judges of the Double Hall of the Justice!’
Funerary cone of Montu-em-Hat. From his tomb at Asasif (TT34). Text: ‘The True One before Osiris, the Noble Prince, Fourth Prophet of Amun: Montu-em-Hat, Justified. His mother, his beloved, the Lady of the House Iset-en-Khebu, Justified’(Macadam #411).
